I have always wanted to bring these guys to Nailsea. Top notch musicians, hugely entertaining and a lot of fun. My wish has been granted. Put it in your diary!!
Saltfishforty are a fresh and dynamic duo hailing from the Orkney Islands in the north of Scotland. Douglas Montgomery (fiddle/viola) and Brian Cromarty (songs/guitar/mandola) combine the rich traditional music of Orkney with original compositions. The powerhouse partnership have won a devoted following throughout the UK and beyond.
Ukraine: We have decided to do something practical as a Folk Club. From Sunday 15 May we will be running weekly afternoons to enable refugees being hosted to meet up. This will be at the Trinity Centre beside Holy Trinity Church 2-4.30 .
We will be running fundraisers to support the project so expect a Ceilidh and a concert during the summer. If you are interested in becoming involved with the project please email me directly: email@example.com
